Our
Story

Kleenex alert! Mom written. Ok that is a painting my friend did form the security camera footage of my last hug with my 20 year old son. 19 minutes later he lay dead on I-24 in Manchester, Tennessee never to be held by any of us again. My last hug, 19 minutes before his death will have to hold me another 19 years if I live to age expectancy. The interstate was shut down for 4 hours. He lay there with firemen wrapped around him holding plastic tarps so we could not see him. A tractor trailer ran over him, then backed up in the weigh station lane to see what had happened and then left the scene as police arrived. So yes the truck driver got away with it, so far. If you have information contact us asap.

No parent should ever have to bury a child. That's a grief that has no measuring stick for pain. I have sold insurance for almost 20 years. I have been trained by the best companies out there. I am here to tell you they have all have it wrong! Especially now with post covid prices.!

The insurance industry and the internet quote median burial costs in the $7500 range. That number is a big fat lie!!!!~ Not true. Not real.

It may get you in the ground but it sure as heck will not fund a funeral and/or a Celebration of Life event, plus the time off of work to do this and then the time to grieve.

We had about 200 people attending our sons Funeral and Celebration of Life event. So get this, while we are overwhelmed and can not breathe, barely gasping for air we have to plan a party for 200 guests. It is truly harder than you can imagine. It takes money and and amazing Funeral Home Director that treats you like family and steps in to help. Thank you Jim Cortner and Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.  It takes a village to pull this off.

How does a life insurance agent who has preached GO Fund Me is not a final expense plan end up having to have a Go Fund me account Set up? Because I believed all the experts who guide us with numbers and not the reality of pain and loss. So learn from this Mama real fast what you need and what you can do in advance to make this nightmare easier to endure. Life is so fragile and tomorrow is not guaranteed we have all heard a million times and so it will happen to someone else and not me. My precious son was a Marine. We were so proud of him. He was recently out this year due to an injury and  he thought he had life insurance. Well surprise, surprise the VA can not find his paperwork! Imagine that. SO please - this is not a money grab. This is an opportunity to fix a problem before it happens buy allowing us to get you covered for pennies on the dollar. Why you ask so cheap? Because we have chosen to make the least amount possible so that you can afford to cover your family. We want to help as many people as we can avoid the strain and struggles we have had by. making sure you have what you need financially and we want to help you prepare as much as possible.

We will be uploading a series of blogs and videos showing you the steps to take now to avoid the agony of doing it when all you want to do is curl up and cry.

Now $10,000 is some place to start but based on your community and planned funeral size go ahead and budget $50,000 and be safe to breathe and not rush back to work.
